Privacy policy

Clear rules for data, cookies and advertising.

Frame a price is a free browser game maintained by Jeremy Martinet. This policy explains what information may be processed when you visit the site, play the game, use contact links, or interact with advertising and affiliate links.

Effective and last updated: 4 October 2026

Game data

The game runs in your browser. Your selected countries, difficulty, score and round history are used to show the current game experience. The site does not require an account and does not ask for a password, payment card or postal address to play.

The browser can also keep aggregate game statistics and daily-challenge first and best results in local storage on your device. These records are not public unless you finish the daily challenge, enter a nickname, tick the publication consent box and press the publish button. You can reset local stats from the homepage; clearing this site’s browser data removes the local records and anonymous device ID.

Cookies and logs

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and may process standard request information such as IP address, browser, requested page, approximate time, referring page and security diagnostics. The site currently loads no separate audience-analytics script. If you opt into the public leaderboard, the site’s D1 database receives the chosen nickname, UTC challenge date, validated score summary and a salted SHA-256 hash of a random browser-generated device ID; the raw device ID and submitted round brackets are not retained in that database.

External partners

Product photographs are requested from Unsplash, Wikimedia Commons and a limited number of existing Hostinger-hosted assets. Those hosts receive the technical information needed to return an image. Amazon receives data only after a visitor chooses an external affiliate link. Their own privacy policies apply to those services.

Controller, purposes and legal bases

Jeremy Martinet is the publisher and data controller for processing directly controlled by Frame a price. Essential delivery, leaderboard integrity, abuse prevention and correction handling rely on the legitimate interests of operating a secure, accurate website. Publishing a nickname and daily score happens only after the player’s explicit action and consent. Any non-essential advertising storage or personalised advertising will rely on the consent choices offered before those technologies are activated where consent is required.

Retention and recipients

Current-round choices remain in the active browser session. Aggregate game and daily-challenge statistics remain in local storage until you reset them or clear this site’s browser data. Published leaderboard rows remain until the player uses “Remove my public scores” from the leaderboard on the same browser/device, or asks the publisher for help. The deletion control hashes the locally held device ID again and removes all matching public scores and submission counters. Emails are retained only as long as needed to answer and document the request. Cloudflare and external media hosts apply their own security-log retention schedules and may process data outside the visitor’s country under their published transfer safeguards. No visitor list is sold by the publisher.

Advertising and affiliate disclosure

Frame a price may display Google advertising or similar ad placements. It may also include affiliate links, including Amazon affiliate search links related to products shown in the game. If you click an affiliate link and make a qualifying purchase, the site may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Affiliate links are marked with sponsored link attributes where they appear. Product prices inside the game are indicative gameplay values and are not live retailer quotes, offers, recommendations or guarantees of availability.

At the date shown above, the site contains AdSense ownership-verification metadata and an authorised-seller file, but it does not load Google’s ad-serving JavaScript. Before Google advertising is activated for visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom or Switzerland, consent choices will be provided through a Google-certified consent management platform.

Google advertising cookies and choices

If Google ads are activated, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve, limit, measure and protect advertising. Google’s advertising cookies can support personalised advertising based on a visitor’s activity on this and other websites, subject to the visitor’s consent and regional settings.

Visitors can review or change personalised-ad settings through Google Ads Settings. Google also explains how it processes data on partner properties in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Rejecting personalised advertising does not necessarily remove all advertising: contextual or limited ads may still be shown where permitted, and some storage may be used for security, fraud prevention or frequency controls when the required consent has been obtained.

Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, visitors may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Requests can be sent through the contact method below. Visitors in France may also contact the CNIL, or their local data-protection authority.
